6/3 Deception Pass, tribal hatcheries, Lolita, climate epidemiologist, Marty Bluewater, week in review

Deception Pass to Rosario Strait [Samantha Russell]

Fav Place: Deception Pass at Rosario Head
Samantha Russell from Mount Vernon writes: "My favorite Salish Sea place is Deception pass, specifically Rosario Head, looking across the tide pools at a high tide sunset. I got my BS in marine ecology from WWU and spent a lot of time on this beach while working with Shannon Point Marine Center. I frequently hike here, tide pool, or just hang out near the Maiden of Deception Pass. It’s an incredible area that never disappoints with sunsets!"
