Yellow daffodils Narcissus
Narcissus is a genus of predominantly spring flowering perennial plants of the amaryllis family, Amaryllidaceae. Various common names including daffodil, narcissus, and jonquil are used to describe all or some members of the genus. Yellow daffodils are a symbol of spring and symbolize new beginnings and rebirth. They're a positive, life-affirming symbol, with a bright and joyful yellow colour. B.C. adds conditions for Trans Mountain expansion, ministers say concerns remain
British Columbia has amended the conditions of its environmental assessment certificate for the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion and told the federal government it still has concerns about its response to potential marine oil spills. The changes announced in late February focus on the impacts of marine shipping and potential oil spills from ships related to the pipeline project. The expansion is set to nearly triple the capacity of the existing 1,150-kilometre pipeline that carries 300,000 barrels per day of petroleum products from Alberta to B.C., which will significantly increase the number of tankers carrying oil for export. Brenna Owen and Brenna Owen report. (Vancouver Sun)

Last month, the federal Crown corporation that owns the pipeline revealed estimated construction costs of the expansion have ballooned by 70 per cent to $21.4 billion, up from an earlier estimate of $12.6 billion.
